The British Nutrition Foundation Prize is awarded annually to a person for their outstanding achievement in an area of nutrition over a number of years.
The prize winner should be a good communicator, as they will be invited to describe the impact of their work to a broad audience at the British Nutrition Foundation Annual Lecture which takes place at the British Nutrition Foundation’s Annual Day, the year after the prize is awarded.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Prize will be awarded to a UK-based leader in nutrition, who has made an outstanding contribution to the field over a number of years.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Previous winners are not eligible for re-nomination.
Judging Criteria
- The nominee will be judged according to the significance and quality of the individual’s contribution to the field of nutrition and nutrition science and/or nutrition education and its impact on society.
Application Requirements
- To submit a nomination, please send the person’s name and organisation, along with:
- a sentence encapsulating why the individual has been nominated and
- a short biography (100-250 words) that outlines their achievements.
