Deadline: 30 June 2025
Young people aged 15 to 24 from around the world are invited to take part in an exciting global challenge focused on one of the most pressing issues of our time—climate change. This opportunity offers participants a chance to collaborate with like-minded peers and gain guidance from world-class mentors while building creative, practical solutions to environmental problems.
Participants can apply either individually or as part of a team, regardless of whether they already have a climate-related idea in mind. Once accepted, applicants will be granted access to a dedicated online challenge space, where they can form teams, connect with others, and access resources designed to help bring their ideas to life. Teams must be made up of between two and six members to qualify.
The challenge officially kicks off with an Opening Ceremony on July 3, where participants will be introduced to the criteria for success and upcoming milestones. Networking events will provide the opportunity to meet other aspiring changemakers. Teams must be finalized by July 6.
Throughout the competition, teams will be supported by expert sessions and workshops as they develop innovative solutions tackling climate change. Ideas may involve breakthroughs in clean energy, sustainable mobility, circular economy models, or any concept that drives impactful environmental change. Final submissions will include the team’s solution and a one-minute pitch video.
The top seven teams will be chosen based on an online vote and a review of their proposals. These finalists will pitch their ideas during a live event, with the grand award ceremony taking place on August 21. While trip winners will have certain costs covered, participants are expected to pay for transport to and from the airport, as well as meals and other incidental expenses during the trip.
To participate, each individual must submit their own application. Even those applying as a group need to ensure every team member completes the application process independently. Solo applicants will be able to form teams after being admitted into the platform.
This is a rare opportunity to gain real-world experience in innovation, build leadership skills, and help create meaningful change in the fight against climate change—while connecting with a global community of emerging environmental leaders.
