The International Center for Refugees and Migration Studies (ICRMS) is seeking research proposals for the Emerging Scholars Research Award (ESRA) 2024.
ICRMS is inviting scholars and researchers to contribute to the shared vision of a world where the rights and dignity of every individual, regardless of their migration status, are upheld and protected through production of primary research and policy recommendations.

Funding Information
- The selected ESRA candidates will receive a grant of 0.2 Million PKR, with 50,000 PKR allocated to the supervisors of the students.
Publication
- ESRA projects are expected to result in a paper published in the International Journal of Refugee, Minority, and Gender Studies, which is affiliated with ICRMS.
Eligibility Criteria
- ESRA is designed for final-year students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees and Fresh graduates. The eligibility criteria include a minimum GPA of 3.5, and for enrolled students, applicants must be in their last year of study. ESRA focuses on supporting innovative and impactful research proposals from emerging scholars.
