In line with Junkosha’s commitment to empowering technology innovators, the winning entries will be selected within two categories this year: late phase development that is on the cusp of market launch and early phase development that is on its way to commercialization. Both winners will have a unique opportunity to showcase their work and gain investment for their worthwhile project.

- Junkosha will award $10,000 to the winning individual or company project in early phase development that is on its way to commercialization.
- An additional $15,000 will be awarded following a four-year assessment period, where Junkosha will monitor the progress of early-phase winners.
Eligibility Criteria
- They welcome applications from around the globe.
- To apply, entrants must submit an innovation in the fields of interventional medical procedures or Microwave/mmWave technologies.
Selection Criteria
- Finalists will participate in an informal video session with a panel of renowned experts and industry leaders, who will seek to learn as much as possible about your project through a presentation you will be expected to develop. They will assess your innovation across two key dimensions:
- Innovation Potential: How technically sound is your innovation? Does it introduce valuable solutions that enrich the society we live in?
- Sustainability Feasibility: How will your innovation address real-world challenges and create meaningful change? Can the innovation sustain itself beyond initial funding, leading to lasting results?
