The Infosys Foundation is thrilled to invite nominations for the Aarohan Social Innovation Awards to recognize, reward, fund and nurture social innovations that build a better world.
Categories
- Education: Fueling the future with innovations that unlock better access to learning, elevate learning outcomes, and bridge the employability gap.
- Healthcare: Expanding access, elevating quality of life, and preventing disease, ensuring well-being for every stratum of society.
- Environmental Sustainability: Enhancing biodiversity, fostering a circular economy, safeguarding water resources, and accelerating decarbonization efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change.
Prize Information
- The Infosys Foundation will award up to INR 50 lakh per winner, with a total prize purse of INR 2 crore.
- Winners will also receive mentorship and incubation.
Eligibility Criteria
- The contest is open to all citizens of India, residing in India over the age of 18.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The following individuals are not eligible to apply:
- Employees and directors of Infosys Limited and Infosys Foundation,
- The Company hosting the Contest Platform and each of their respective parent entities, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, owners, officers, directors, partners, agents, representatives, employees and contractors, advertising, promotion agencies, webmasters and web suppliers and their respective dependents, immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse) and individuals residing in their same household.
Judging Criteria
- Each entry will be evaluated based on the following parameters:
- Real Problems: Addressing social challenges that impact society significantly
- Sharp Solutions: Innovations that are effective, scalable, and sustainable
- Committed Founders: Passionate innovators dedicated to driving meaningful change.
