Eligibility Criteria
- The Award is open to all photographers from Japan entering the Professional competition.
- One photographer wins the title of Japan Professional Award.
- To be considered for the Japan Professional Award, participants must have Japanese nationality and reside in Japan during the period of the award being open for entries (June 2025 – January 2026).
Application Requirements
- All photographers from Japan entering bodies of work (five to ten images) to any of the ten categories in the Sony World Photography Awards’ Professional competition will be considered for the Japan National Award.
