Call for Applications: Share Prize XVII

Share Festival has the unique power to show people art from a different time entirely. In this case, art from the year 2050 AD — not this quarter of the century, but the next quarter of the century. The art world of tomorrow, now.

Theme

• “Tomorrow Now: The Art of 2050 Ad”

Funding Information

• The competition jury will award a prize of €2,500.00 to the work (published or unpublished) that best represents experimentation between art and new technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

• The competition is open to artists who express the contemporary technological society through creative language in any form or format, including hybrid works with analog technologies and other materials.
• Participation is open to all Italian and international artists. Each individual or collective can submit up to 3 artworks. Artists who are part of a collective may also participate individually, with a maximum of 3 artworks.
• Artworks must be registered exclusively via the form, either in English or Italian. One form per work is required. English is preferred for submissions.

Ineligibility Criteria

• The following are not eligible to participate:
  • Members of the jury or organizational staff.
  • Employees or collaborators of the jury or the promoting organization.
  • Projects or artworks that have not been realized yet.

Application Requirements

• Full name of the artist
• Residential address
• Email address
• Title of the artwork
• Description of the work (max. 1000 characters)
• Technical description of the technologies involved (max. 500 characters)
• Artist or collective bio (if newly formed, include bios for each member) (max. 1000 characters)
• URL for further details (including images and videos) on a personal website / YouTube / Vimeo, etc
