Applications are now open for the Hiyoshi Awards that will recognize those who are doing novel, innovative, outstanding scientific research and application in the field of environmental conservation and protection in India.
In the year 2007 Hiyoshi Corporation Japan, ABK AOTS DOSOKAI Tamilnadu Centre, Chennai and Hiyoshi India Ecological Services Private Limited, Chennai jointly organised “Hiyoshi Awards” and since then every year Hiyoshi Awards are presented to Indian Researchers, Scientists and Young Researchers.
Award Categories
- “Hiyoshi Environmental Award”
- Annual prestigious award for outstanding contribution for the fundamental research on Environmental Conservation and Protection.
- “Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award”
- Annual prestigious award for outstanding contribution for applied study on Environmental Conservation and Protection.
- “Hiyoshi Young Leaf Award”
- Annual prestigious award for outstanding contribution by young researcher for research on Environmental Conservation and Protection.
Funding Information
- “Hiyoshi Environmental Award”
- This award will be given to one person and comprises of a memento, cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a citation.
- “Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award”
- This award will be given to one person and comprises of a memento, cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a citation.
- “Hiyoshi Young Leaf Award”
- This award will be given to one person and comprises of a memento, cash prize of Rs. 15,000 and a citation.
Eligibility Criteria
- “Hiyoshi Environmental Award” and “Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award”
- This award is open to research scientist (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
- The applicant should have minimum Ten (10) years of research experience (excluding your Ph.D degree research experience) in environmental conservation and must have done outstanding contribution in Researches, Design & Methodology Development, Application of Science and Technology for the Protection and Conservation of Environment.
- Applicant age should be more than 35 years.
- Individuals who have received this award earlier are not eligible for consideration.
- This award is open to research scientist (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
- “Hiyoshi Young Leaf Award”
- This award is open to young researcher (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
- The applicant should have minimum Six (6) years of research experience in environmental conservation and must have done outstanding contribution in Researches, Design & Methodology Development, Application of Science and Technology for the Protection and Conservation of Environment.
- The applicant age should not be more than 35 years.
- Individuals who have received this award earlier are not eligible for consideration.
- This award is open to young researcher (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Applicants who have received any one (Environmental, Think of Ecology and Young Leaf) of the awards earlier are not eligible for consideration.
- Applicant age less than 35 years should not apply for Environmental and Think of Ecology Awards.
- One applicant is allowed to apply any one of the awards and if any applicant is applied to more than one category of the award then the applicant will not be considered for any awards.
