The Ministry of Culture has announced the fifth event of “All Greece is one Culture” program which has as its central theme the concept of “conflict”.
The concept of conflict is articulated in four subthemes that run through the fields of political, economic, cultural and mental life and in particular in internal conflict, the conflict of cultures, the conflict of interests and the conflict in wartime.
Funding Information
- Only Urban Non-Profit Companies (AMKE) participate in the program and 70 productions will be financed, with a total budget of €1,800,000 plus VAT.
Which arts should be combined in the proposals that can be granted?
- Proposals must combine at least two of the six areas:
- Music (all genres: classical, contemporary, traditional, etc.)
- Theater (all genres: prose, puppetry, shadow theater, etc.)
- Dance (all genres: classical, contemporary, etc.). Original music or arrangement/paraphrasing of already existing music required
- Musical Theater (Original Score Required)
- Visual Arts/performance (all genres: painting, sculpture, photography, etc.)
- Performances/activities for children and teenagers.
- In the visual arts proposals, the exhibition can also cover the entire period of operation of the program, while the second necessary art will be presented up to twice.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only Municipal Non-Profit Corporations.
- Each institution has the right to submit up to two proposals, but only one proposal per institution can be selected.
Evaluation Criteria
- Proposals should:
- concern an original creation, based on the thematic axis of the conflict, with the aim of developing synergies and compositions of cultural heritage and contemporary creation.
- fall into the following costing categories, be sufficiently justified and necessarily include a detailed budget and nominal reference of all factors for the entirety of each production.
- include technical specifications (sets, lights, sound, projections), transport and accommodation services as well as producer communication.
