CYRC Bhutan and Disabilities2030 is organizing its first ever National Youth Forum on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2024 to provide educational sessions to enhance understanding of the SDGs and their significance, foster active participation and engagement of youth in sustainable development initiatives and build the capacity of young people by providing them with skills and knowledge necessary for contributing to sustainable development.
The program is supported by Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center and ARROW, Y-PEER Bhutan in collaboration with Department of Education Programmes (DEP).
The program is scheduled on 27th January 2024 (9AM-5PM) in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Program Theme
- Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and eradicating poverty in limes of multiple crises: The effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions in Asia and the Pacific with Young People of the Forefront.
Who can apply?
- Young people aged between 16 to 29 years, based in Thimphu or nearby areas.
- Individuals or youth from diverse youth led groups under Young Bhutan Network (YBN)
- Committed to attending the program to contribute, share and learn linking SDGs progress and challenges in the country from a youth perspective.
