RFAs: Transition Readiness Grant Program (US)

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is requesting applications for its Transition Readiness Grant Program to support Wisconsin’s students with disabilities to successfully transition to competitive work and post-secondary education environments after high school.

Funding Information

  • Grant awards must not be less than $25,000 and not more than $100,000.
  • Duration: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.

Eligible Activities

  • The fund will support:
    • Transportation options (including contracted services or vehicle purchases)
    • Competitive Integrated Employment Training (CIE) Programs
    • Post-secondary tuition or supports for students
    • Transition Training for Staff Members

Eligibility Criteria

  • All school districts and 2r and 2x charters under Wis. Stat. § 118.40 with a secondary population are eligible to apply.
