The One Young World is thrilled to invite applications for the Sandoz Scholarship Program to support young leaders who are tackling systemic barriers to healthcare access or creating innovative solutions to promote equitable access to healthcare and medication in their communities, countries, or the world at large.
The program will bring together an interdisciplinary cohort of 5 outstanding young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany as part of the global Sandoz delegation.
Benefits
- Access to the One Young World Summit in Munich
- Hotel accommodation in a private room between 2 – 6 November 2025 (inclusive)
- The cost of travel to and from Munich (economy class)
- Catering which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner (provided by the hotel and during the Summit)
- Cost of transportation between airport and hotel via public transport
- Participation in Sandoz-hosted sessions for their delegation in the lead-up to and during the Summit, and a Sandoz “buddy” to enhance networking and engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
- Aged 18 – 30
- Evidenced commitment to delivering positive change
- Demonstrated capacity for leadership
- Understanding of key local and/or global issues
- Track record of generating impactful and innovative solutions to address healthcare disparities or promote universal access to pharmaceuticals. Relevant examples of impact include:
- Innovative digital or AI-driven platforms to reach underserved communities with limited physical healthcare or pharmaceutical facilities;
- Cutting-edge supply-chain solutions to distribute essential medications in remote and rural areas;
- Community-based healthcare education and training programmes in underserved communities;
- Advocacy for critical policy changes that make healthcare and medications more affordable and accessible.
