The Karachi Biennale Trust is delighted to announce its Open call for Contemporary Artists based in Pakistan!
This call offers an opportunity to artists to participate in Pakistan’s largest international Contemporary Art platform in 2024.
The KB24 thematic is RIZQ | RISK and artists will explore the contemporary foodscape, highlighting food security, climate change, as well as colonial and neo-imperial policies that impact the production and movement of food.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pakistan-based artists and collectives.
- With a contemporary interdisciplinary art practice.
- Mid-career artists with minimum ten years exhibition experience.
Submission Guidelines
- Interested candidates need to submit the following:
- A detailed proposal based on the KB24 thematic (minimum 1800 words) and a budget outline of the project.
- Artist Statement.
- 5 to 8 images of their practice/portfolio that best represents their work.
- Links to videos and website if any.
