The North Harbour Club & Charitable Trust awards grants annually through the AIMES Awards to outstanding young people, aged 13 to 25, who are achieving excellence in these fields.

Award Information
- A winner is selected for each of the AIMES letter categories and receives $15,000.
- Awards range from $3,000 to $30,000, with a total funding pool of over $200,000 available.
Eligibility Criteria
- All applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be able to demonstrate the achievement of excellence in your chosen category
- Be aged between 13-25 years as at 24 January 2025
- Have lived in the North Harbour region and or can demonstrate a strong affiliation with the North Harbour region (attending school, training etc) for a period of not less than three calendar years. North Harbour is anywhere north of Auckland Harbours Bridge up to Warkworth, stretching out west to Helensville on SH16 from Massey East. If you don’t reside in that area, you may qualify if you have trained/work in the North Harbour region for three years or more.
Application Requirements
- This Case should include the following headings:
- Personal Statement (about yourself, your background and why you believe you qualify for an AIMES award) [maximum 1 – 2 pages]
- Connection to the North Harbour region
- Summary of Achievements (ideally in bullet point format) [maximum 1 page]
- Future Aspirations (including how funding from the award will support you in your endeavors, future development programs etc)
- Appendix (Optional): include CV/Resume, references or any other supplementary written material if relevant to your application.
