The Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice is inviting applications for its territorial animation grant aimed at strengthening networking and network work between all project partners and various stakeholders and support in verifying the implementation of all planned project activities.
Funding Information
- The amount of the research grant is €2,170.00 per month exempt from IRPEF and INPS, for a total of €19,530. The amount paid is to be considered inclusive of any costs related to the completion of the research activity envisaged by the project.
- The monthly compensation will be recognized and paid only if the entire month is completed, otherwise the compensation relating to the uncompleted month will not be paid.
Outcomes
- The scholarship holder will have to carry out the following research activity:
- The person identified will have the task of contributing to the promotion and dissemination of initiatives in the various territories with the aim of facilitating and encouraging opportunities for discussion and integration with other projects.
- It also includes:
- support for the creation of a focus group aimed at evaluating the impact of the adoption of Age Management policies in work contexts and on people;
- the collection of qualitative/quantitative data (before, during and post interventions) aimed at drafting a detailed and accurate report of the project;
- participation in the processes of re-modulating interventions if the need arises during the course of the project;
- monitoring the achievement of the expected project outputs;
- the activation of the network of subjects in the territory through an initial mapping, promotion and presentation of the project.
- The scholarship holders, as required by the FSE Directive, at the end of their activity must provide the department with the following scientific products:
- a final report on the activity carried out, of at least 3 pages, which highlights the results achieved with particular reference to the assessment of the corporate impact of the possible adoption of age diversity management policies, accompanied by an abstract of the research.
- Furthermore, the scholarship holder will be required to fill out a “daily logbook” in which to note down the research activity carried out.
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizens belonging to member states of the European Union and non-EU citizens in possession of: Degree or equivalent foreign qualification in Sociology or Social Services or Management or Economy.
- Required skills:
- Proven knowledge of the English language;
- Proven knowledge in the field of the main theories of innovation in companies; Proven knowledge in the field of research acquired through previous research in related fields.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The research grant is incompatible with:
- other scholarships awarded for any reason, with the exception of those awarded by national or foreign institutions useful for integrating, with stays abroad, the research activity of the scholarship holder;
- attendance of doctoral research courses with scholarships and medical specialization courses, in Italy and abroad;
- research grants.
- The person holding a research grant may carry out self-employed work or occasional or continuous collaboration, compatible with the ongoing research activity and subject to authorization from the structure, provided that the activity:
- does not involve a conflict of interest with the specific research activity carried out by the grant holder;
- does not harm the University.

- In the application form, the candidate must indicate under his/her own responsibility:
- the qualification held;
- citizenship (if a non-EU citizen present in Italy: possession of a residence permit valid on the expiry date of the call);
- to be physically fit for collaboration;
- to be aware that the awarding of the research grant is not compatible with the positions referred to in art. 12 of the University Regulations for the activation of grants for research activities and by current legislation;
- of not having received any measures restricting personal freedom at the time of submitting the application;
- not to have a degree of kinship or affinity, up to and including the fourth degree, with a professor belonging to the Research Structure or the structure making the call or with the Rector, the General Director or any member of the Board of Directors of the University and to be aware of the provisions of Law.
