The Country Education Foundation of Australia (CEF) is offering grants to promote and enable equal access to further education and career opportunities for rural and regional youth irrespective of background, circumstances or location through community-based encouragement and financial assistance.
A grant from the Country Education Foundation (CEF) will help you pay for educational purpose costs associated with any post-school educational and training expenses.
Funding Information
- Generally, a local grant can be anywhere between $250-$5,000.
- Your grant can be used for educational expenses and paid for via a reimbursement model. This could include accommodation, technology, fuel, food, living expenses, textbooks or tools.
Eligibility Criteria
- Demonstrated financial need;
- Aged 16-25 years;
- Attended school in or currently live in the region covered by your local CEF and
- Commitment to achieving your goals.
Selection Criteria
- The grants are awarded by your local CEF foundation.
- They will assess your application on the eligibility criteria and make their final decision based on your application and an interview.
