Are you passionate about promoting human rights? Do you want to use your creativity to help the cause of ending violence against women and girls? Join them in their international campaign on 16 Days of Activism this year!
16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign to prevent violence against women and girls, which is held annually from November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and ends on December 10, the Human Rights Day. The purpose of the kick-off event was to attract government, public organizations, media, and NGOs to the problems of gender-based violence.
The Digital Art contest aims to raise awareness and promote action on protecting women and girls from all forms of violence, including physical, sexual, emotional, and psychological violence. Participants are encouraged to create visually impactful posters that highlight the importance of this issue, share empowering messages, and inspire others to help end violence against women and girls.
The competition aims to support youth and activists to communicate messages against gender-based violence visually. Posters and short videos submitted to the competition will be published on social media. The selected Digital Art Products (posters, photos and short videos) will be exhibited during the 16 Days Campaign, followed by a high-level award ceremony where winners will be announced. The project will ensure timely development and adoption of rules of the competition and organize effective communication with participants. The exhibition and the high-level award ceremony will be conducted featuring the most prominent entries.
