The Kectil is now accepting applications for its Web-Based Mentoring Program to address hot issues facing youth globally, led by experts and key youth leaders.
The Web-Based Kectil Modules focus on multiple-week subjects affecting youth in developing countries with deep dive challenging Assignments. The subjects include: Authentic Leadership, Good Government; Personal Finance; Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Environment; Gender Balance; Mental Health; Unemployment and Corruption.

Award Information
- The Kectil Program gives two awards to outstanding participants: The Developing Countries Youth Leadership Atlanta Conference Awards and the Kectil Mentor Awards.
- The Developing Countries Youth Leadership Atlanta Conference Award is given to stand-out participants in the Kectil Program. The awardees are invited to attend the intensive one-week leadership workshop held in Atlanta, Georgia.
- They select a number of Kectil Colleagues with superior performance to receive the Kectil Mentor Award. The Colleagues are assigned a mentor for the next year to communicate with and seek advice. The mentors awarded are usually in line with the awardees areas of interest and career path.
Eligibility Criteria
- High potential youth (aged 17-26) in least developed and developing countries who have demonstrated a talent and passion for leadership, scholarship or innovation, are proficient in English and have access to a computer and the internet.
