The Royal Society of Edinburgh in partnership with the US-UK Fulbright Commission is delighted to accept applications for the RSE Fulbright Scholar Award to offer an academic from anywhere in the UK the opportunity to go to a top university in the US for a maximum of three months to carry out lecturing and/or research.
Themes
- For this upcoming round, applications that speak to one or more of the RSE’s strategic themes are invited, namely:
- Climate change and environmental sustainability
- Economic prosperity
- Social cohesion and inclusion
Funding Information
- Grant amount: $5,000 per month.
- Duration: Maximum 3 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- In order to apply for this award, you must be able to demonstrate that:
- You are a resident in the UK and have a clear and continuing connection with Scotland, and you hold a PhD (or equivalent professional training or experience) in a relevant area before departure to the US.
