The American Psychological Foundation is seeking applications for its Alice F. Chang Cancer Wellness Grant to support research and research-based projects to improve the lives of cancer patients and/or cancer survivors through psychology.
The Alice F. Chang Cancer Wellness Grant was made possible by the generosity of the Academy for Cancer Wellness, Inc., a non-profit organization established in 1995. Its purpose is to provide support for cancer patients, as well as for their family and friends.
The Alice F. Chang Cancer Wellness Grant began accepting applications in 2019 and alternates between supporting a graduate student (odd years) and an early career psychologist (even years).

- Amount: Up to $12,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants from Arizona and New Mexico are encouraged to apply.
- APF encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography.
- The 2024 Alice F. Chang Grant Cancer Wellness Grant will support an early career psychologist.
- Applicants must:
- be early career psychologists no more than 10 years post-doctoral.
