The American Psychological Foundation invites submissions for the Lizette Peterson-Homer Injury Prevention Grant to support research into psychological and behavioral aspects of preventing injuries in children and adolescents.
This is reflected in the activities and interests within pediatric psychology of the late Lizette Peterson-Homer and her commitment to improving the status of children in the face of the most significant threats to their health and development.

Eligibility Criteria
- APF encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography.
- Applicants must:
- be a full-time graduate student in good standing at an accredited university or an early career psychologist (no more than 10 years postdoctoral).
- have demonstrated research competence and area commitment.
